Jazz in the Garden 2016
It’s one of the most highly anticipated shows to hit south Florida each and every year and this year is no exception. The 11th Annual “Jazz in the Garden” is host to a massive number of fans that flock down to the incomparable city of Miami Gardens for 2-days of sun, fun and a legendary musical line up that makes any R&B/Soul & Jazz enthusiast burst with excitement. This year’s star studded festival will be hosted by nationally syndicated radio host Rickey Smiley, as well as a lineup that does NOT disappoint with performances from USHER, Aretha Franklin, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Janelle Monae, Brian Culbertson, Michael McDonald, Kool and The Gang, Fred Hammond, The Average White Band, The Jazz in the Gardens All-Stars featuring Regina Belle, Najee & Alex Bugnon. Along with South Florida staple artists CriStyle Renae, April Raquel, Kouture Band, and LaVie. The estimated 73,000 plus fans will be in for a euphoric experience of first-rate food, atmosphere and nostalgia from the sounds of the crooners that have so brilliantly created excellence in the genres of R&B, Soul & Jazz.
The City of Miami Gardens and AEG live works tirelessly to host the annual festival and “This is our signature annual event that people from all over the world look forward to attending every year,” said City of Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert. “Last year’s event took Jazz in the Gardens to the next level, and with this year’s lineup of top-notch musical talent, we expect this year will continue the trend”.
