The City of Miami Gardens welcomes you to the Jazz in the Gardens music festival.
After years of unforgettable concert experiences and entertainment, the festival has grown to become one of the most highly regarded and anticipated music festival events in the country.
With around 80,000 guests, attracting both locals and thousands of out-of-towners to the beautiful City of Miami Gardens.
Miami Gardens is home to Dolphin Stadium, used by the Miami Dolphins and the Florida Marlins, and also to Calder Race Track.
The City of Miami Gardens was incorporated on May 13, 2003, as the 33rd city in Miami-Dade County.
At a population of 105,457, it is the third largest city in Miami-Dade County, after Miami and Hialeah.
It has vibrant commercial corridors along the Palmetto Expressway serving as the central shopping district for the furniture trade.
Another can be found along U.S. 441 which serves the automobile trade. The city has rail access through the Florida East Coast Railway and the South Florida Tri-Rail System.
The City is located in North-Central region of the county, mid-way between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and is easily accessed by I-95, the Palmetto Expressway and the Florida Turnpike.
The city comprises approximately 20 square miles.
Patrons enjoyed live performances by Grammy award-winning artists such as Charlie Wilson, New Edition, Neyo, Earth Wind & Fire, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Fantasia, Monica, Mary Mary, Najee, and Nicole Henry, all while reveling in a wide variety of ethnically diverse foods and top notch merchandise from all around the world.

Miami Gardens is a solid, working and middle class community of unique diversity. It is the largest predominantly African-American municipality in the State of Florida and boasts many Caribbean residents.
