02 Feb Usher to Headline 11th Annual Jazz in the Gardens Event
The annual Women’s Impact Luncheon and the official Opening Night Party on March 18th will kick-off a weekend filled with music, food, fun, and excitement. March 19th & 20th, Jazz in the Gardens will continue the magic at Sun Life Stadium that will surely surpass last years’ experience.
Last year’s Jazz in the Gardens scored a record-breaking 78,000 people in attendance, with a top lineup including Maxwell, Toni Braxton and R. Kelly to name a few. The 11th Annual Jazz in the Gardens is expected to surpass attendees’ expectations with additional artist to be announced soon.
The City of Miami Gardens was born in 2003, the then City Council sought to create a signature event for the largest predominantly African American municipality in Florida, which is also the third largest in the United States. In 2006, the City of Miami Gardens presented the inaugural Jazz in the Gardens, an intimate jazz-only festival featuring food and music, setting the foundation for the decade-long, signature experience that followed, adding R&B to the lineup.
