At Jazz in the Gardens 2019: Lionel Richie, En Vogue, O’Jays

Led by resurgent R&B singer Lionel Richie, the 2019 Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival will return to Hard Rock Stadium March 9-10 with an eclectic lineup that also includes En Vogue, the O’Jays, Bobby Brown, Stephanie Mills, Doug E. Fresh, Black Violin and many others.

Tickets for the 14th annual event are scheduled to go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at JazzInTheGardens.com and all Ticketmaster outlets, including Ticketmaster.comand by calling 800-745-3000.

Advance tickets will cost $99 for a two-day general-admission pass, $137 for a two-day reserved-seating pass. Two-day Prime ($158) and Platinum level ($225) passes also will be available.

Purchased at the gate, prices for the two-day passes will be $119 for general admission, $158 reserved, $180 Prime and $247 Platinum.

Super VIP packages, which include front-row seats and other perks, also are available.

Hosted by radio and TV personality and comedian Rickey Smiley, Jazz in the Gardens includes a wide variety of food, drink and vendor shopping, and draws attendees from across the country. The signature JITG opening-night party on March 8 will feature the old-school hip-hop of the Sugarhill Gang.

Other performers during the weekend will include Blackstreet ex Dave Hollister, Jagged Edge, gospel singer Tye Tribbett and smooth jazz from the Jazz in the Gardens All-Stars, featuring Maysa, Chieli Minucci, Gerald Veasley, Lao Tizer and Nelson Rangell.
