LIONEL RICHIE TO HEADLINE THE ‘JAZZ IN THE GARDEN MUSIC FESTIVAL’
The City of Miami Gardens will host the 14th Annual Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival (JITG), ushering in the 2019 festival season another “top notch” lineup. On March 9-10, 2019 the highly anticipated festival event will immerse fans with the best of R&B, soul, jazz, hip-hop, and funk genres. JITG will produce this celebrated event for an anticipated 70,000 attendees at the world-class Hard Rock Stadium.
Jazz in the Gardens is one of the best “travel destination for the spring.” The festival serves as the inaugural event of the highly anticipated music festival season.
Headlining this years JITG festival, will be music royalty the much-loved voice of music royalty Lionel Richie, songress Brandy, and Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter Teddy Riley&Friends featuring Blackstreet and Dave Hollister, Bobby Brown, and Doug E. Fresh with special guests En Vogue and Jagged Edge. The legendary smooth trio The O’Jays, the soul-stirring Stephanie Mills, eclectic violinists Black Violin and gospel sensation Tye Tribbett. Back by popular demand, this year’s Jazz in the Gardens ‘All-Stars’ will feature Maysa, Chieli Minucci, Gerald Veasley, Lao Tizer, and Nelson Rangell. More artists will be announced soon.
Previous year’s Jazz in the Gardens Artists-included Toni Braxton, LL Cool J, Jamie Foxx, Trey Songz, Kelly Rowland, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Maxwelland others.
JITG, is more than a Music Festival, it’s an experience! With the continued growth of the festival, the city is excited about other event attractions including: The Film, Music, Art & Culture Conference (FMAC), Annual Poetry in the Gardens, Women’s Impact Luncheon and the Opening Night Party.
