30 Dec Queens Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, H.E.R. & More To Rule The Stage At 15th Anniversary Jazz In The Gardens Music Fest
A trip to Miami is welcome any time of the year, but when that trip coincides with one of the premier soul and R&B music festivals in the country, it’s definitely the move. SoulBouncers who love to travel can make music moves down to South Florida on Saturday, March 14th and Sunday, March 15th for the annual Jazz In The Gardens Music Fest in Miami Gardens, Florida. The festival will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2020, and the lineup is fit for such a milestone celebration.
Headlining the two-day festival will be soul sisters Mary J. Blige and Jill Scott. Fresh from Mary Bopping around the country on The Royalty Tour this summer, MJB joins fellow soul sister Jilly from Philly, who is making this stop while on her Who Is Jill Scott? Words And Sounds Vol. 1 20th Anniversary Tour, at the top of an incredible roster of R&B, soul, hip-hop and gospel heavyweights. Scheduled to also perform onstage at the Hard Rock Stadium will be young superstar H.E.R., soulful showman Stokley, gospel king Kirk Franklin, Uncle Charlie Wilson, arguably the best band in the land The Roots with special guest Bilal and the sisters with voices themselves, SWV.
The 15th Annual Jazz In The Gardens Music Fest will mark the first time that the City of Miami Gardens will be working with Live Nation Urban and Live Nation Miami who have come on board to produce the festival. With Live Nation in the mix, Jazz In The Gardens will kick things up several notches for their 15th-anniversary festival. It’s gonna be a lit time in Miami, and trust us when we say that you need to be there to experience it all. South Florida Bouncers should block off this weekend on their calendars, and anyone not local to the area still has time to plan a soulful Spring Break trip. Tickets to attend Jazz In The Gardens are on sale now at the Hard Rock Stadium box office and online via Ticketmaster.
