What an amazing opportunity to hear directly from such an amazing woman. A woman who takes no stuff and means what she’s says.
It’s the legend “Betty Wright.” I grew up listening to her music, my grandmother would sing “Clean up woman,” while cleaning the kitchen and giving my grandfather the evil eye.
Now, that I am in my 40(s) I get it … I completely understand why she played Wright’s music- my granny was conveying a message that Betty was not afraid to say. In the end, I am sure a vast number of women utilized Wright’s music for therapy –
Today, Betty Wright continues to pursue writing music, consultant artists, and vocal training. I am sure we will hear more from her in the near future.
