A weekend of music begins
Spring is a season of music in the Miami area. With the month of March comes an array of events diverse enough to give everyone the chance to catch a tune – from the Latin beats of the Calle Ocho Music Festival to the electronic sounds that permeate every corner throughout Miami Music Week.
Kicking off this year’s celebrations is a two-day affair presenting some big-name Black talent. Miami Gardens strikes again with a brand-new lineup for its 15th annual Jazz in the Gardens Music Fest, beginning Saturday, March 12, at the Hard Rock Stadium. Tickets start at $100 and are available at HardRockStadium.com. Below is a schedule of performances.

Approximately 15-20 food and drink vendors will be accessible on-site, with cuisines including Jamaican, Haitian, Latin, Chinese, Bahamian and soul food. There also will be stations for interactive games, photos and souvenirs.
Cameras, recording devices and outdoor food and drinks will not be permitted, but guests with general admission tickets may bring their own lawn chairs. Each guest is allowed one clear bag, not exceeding 12″ x 6″, or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. In addition to the clear bag, ticket holders are permitted to carry a small clutch bag or purse that doesn’t exceed 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, with exceptions made according to medical necessity.
Proof of a COVID vaccination or a negative test will be required for admission to the festival; masks are encouraged.
