Jazz In The Gardens (JITG) was back on the scene in the City of Miami Gardens for their annual Jazz and R&B Fest! Tre-media and team are to be commended for running a tight ship to ensure the festivals continued success.  This year’s artist included: Jasmine Walker, BabyFace, Trina, Kirk Franklin, Summer Walker and Maxwell, just to name a few! The opening luncheon honored songstress and actress Fantasia with the opening night party soiree featured Kid Capri on the turntables.  Each year, the festival brings together family, friends, fans, vendors in the surrounding area and around the country for a weekend of soulful, sultry, eclectic artists and musicians.  “This was my first time attending. The weather was gorgeous and the acts were top notch,” said festival attendee Pam Lacey. Festival goers commented on the plethora of vendors this year, the two stages for the DJ’s, and the upgrade of video screens strategically placed to view fest entertainment. The word on the festival streets is that gospel artist Kirk Franklin brought down the house down with his quick feet and running down into the audience to greet, sing  and shout with his fans! Comedian Rickey Smiley had the audience in laugh out loud tears spewing his funnyman punchline jokes and antics.  On Sunday, sheer pandemonium hit the stage when hip-hop artist Jeezy took the stage, preceded by Maxwell who calmed the crowd with his smooth eclectic sounds.
