Jazz in the Gardens just got a bit more soulful.<\/p>\n
The acclaimed Miami Gardens music festival will return for its 16th iteration March 11 and 12 at Hard Rock Stadium. Boasting a lineup featuring Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Charlie Wilson and Ari Lennox, this year\u2019s bill leans heavy into R&B and neo-soul.<\/p>\n
\u201cOver the years, Jazz in the Gardens has evolved on many levels,\u201d Miami Gardens Mayor Rodney Harris said in a release. \u201cNow, in our 16th year, the festival continues to showcase some amazing talent and different genres of music for all those who attend to enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n
After having a more hip-hop heavy lineup in 2022, festival organizers opted for a more soulful selection in 2023 that also includes Jodeci, El DeBarge and Keyshia Cole. The 2023 edition, however, is not limited to just R&B and neo-soul. Fresh from\u00a0the 20-year anniversary<\/a>\u00a0of his double-platinum album \u201cDutty Rock,\u201d dancehall legend Sean Paul will grace the stage. Sunday will also feature a special gospel performance courtesy of Chandler Moore, Kierra \u201cKiki\u201d Sheard and Pastor Mike Jr.<\/p>\n Jazz in the Gardens returned in 2022 after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
