A full lineup of the best in R&B, neo-soul and jazz are coming to the 2023\u00a0Jazz In the Gardens<\/a>\u00a0music festival<\/a>\u00a0this March. On January 18, it was announced that\u00a0Erykah Badu<\/strong>,\u00a0Jill Scott,<\/strong>\u00a0Jodeci<\/strong>,\u00a0Ari Lennox<\/strong>,\u00a0El Debarge<\/strong>,\u00a0Sean Paul<\/strong>,\u00a0Mike Phillips<\/strong>, the\u00a0Adam Blackstone Experience<\/strong>\u00a0and more will perform at the 16th annual celebration of Black music and culture.<\/p>\n The two-day music festival \u2013 last held in 2022 with Mary J. Blige and Rick Ross as headliners \u2013 \u00a0will return to the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on Saturday, March 11th<\/sup>\u00a0and Sunday March 12th<\/sup>, 2023. To kick off the weekend, JITG will host a party on opening night, followed by a Women\u2019s Impact Luncheon. To conclude the festival, JITG will host a special \u201csoulful Sunday\u201d performance by gospel acts\u00a0Chandler Moore<\/strong>,\u00a0Kierra \u201cKiki\u201d Sheard<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Pastor Mike Jr<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cOver the years,\u00a0Jazz<\/span>\u00a0in the\u00a0Gardens<\/span>\u00a0has evolved on many levels.\u00a0Now, in our 16th<\/sup>\u00a0year, the festival continues to showcase some amazing talent and different genres of music for all those who attend to enjoy. People come from all over for this unique experience.\u00a0Jazz<\/span>\u00a0is the means by which we celebrate grandly music, food, and culture, together,\u201d said\u00a0Miami\u00a0Gardens<\/span>\u00a0Mayor Rodney Harris in a press statement.<\/p>\n JTIG will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of incorporation for the city of Miami Gardens, which has a population of approximately 113,000 and is the third largest city in Miami-Dade County.<\/p>\n
