The two-day, weekend festival will return to the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, March 11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and Sunday March 12<sup>th<\/sup>, 2023<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the years,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/islandoriginsmag.com\/how-jazz-in-the-gardens-celebrates-local-cuisine\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jazz in the Gardens<\/a>\u00a0has evolved on many levels.\u00a0 Now, in our 16<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0year, the festival continues to showcase some amazing talent and different genres of music for all those who attend to enjoy. People come from all over for this unique experience. Jazz is the means by which we celebrate grandly music, food, and culture, together,\u201d said\u00a0<strong>Miami Gardens Mayor Rodney Harris.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2022, artists including the Queen of Soul Mary J. Blige and Miami Gardens native son Rick Ross lit up the JITG stage following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.\u00a0 During the festival, Miami Gardens Mayor Rodney Harris &amp; Council declared March 13th as \u201cRick Ross Day\u201d in honor of the Miami Gardens native\u2019s global success as an entertainer, entrepreneur and philanthropist.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the live performances, the 2023 JITG Music Fest will feature succulent, exotic cuisine and offer exquisite retail buys in the Merchandise Village.
