Festival returns to Miami Gardens March 11 & 12, 2023 at Hardrock Stadium<\/em><\/p>\n

The internationally acclaimed Jazz in the Gardens Music (JITG) Festival marks its 16th<\/sup>\u00a0annual \u201csweeter level\u201d celebration of Black music and culture with an electric artist lineup of award-winning R&B, neo-soul, reggae and gospel artists, including\u00a0Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Jodeci, Ari Lennox, El Debarge, Sean Paul, Mike Phillips, the Adam Blackstone Experience,\u00a0<\/strong>and a special soulful Sunday performance by\u00a0Chandler Moore, Kierra \u201cKiki\u201d Sheard and Pastor Mike Jr<\/strong>. The two-day, weekend festival will return to the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, March 11th<\/sup>\u00a0and Sunday March 12th<\/sup>, 2023<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the years,\u00a0Jazz in the Gardens<\/a>\u00a0has evolved on many levels.\u00a0 Now, in our 16th<\/sup>\u00a0year, the festival continues to showcase some amazing talent and different genres of music for all those who attend to enjoy. People come from all over for this unique experience. Jazz is the means by which we celebrate grandly music, food, and culture, together,\u201d said\u00a0Miami Gardens Mayor Rodney Harris.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2022, artists including the Queen of Soul Mary J. Blige and Miami Gardens native son Rick Ross lit up the JITG stage following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.\u00a0 During the festival, Miami Gardens Mayor Rodney Harris & Council declared March 13th as \u201cRick Ross Day\u201d in honor of the Miami Gardens native\u2019s global success as an entertainer, entrepreneur and philanthropist.<\/p>\n
