With no competition against festival giants such as Coachella and Lollapalooza, the mission of the 100% black-owned business is to be \u201cthe world\u2019s leading producer and provider of culturally relevant live entertainment experiences.\u201d BPC is thrilled to work alongside the City of Miami Gardens to enhance the already vibrant Jazz in the Gardens brand and take it to the next level,\u201d BPC partner and chief marketing officer Troy Brown said.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"86\">With never seen before festival additions like Nigeria\u2019s own Davido, BPC is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/black-promoters-collective-announces-exciting-partnership-with-jazz-in-the-gardens-music-festival-featuring-headliner-maxwell-302020944.html\" data-reader-unique-id=\"87\">bringing a much needed change to the industry<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure data-reader-unique-id=\"88\"><\/figure>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"92\">With more than 250 concerts and festivals produced under BPC\u2019s belt, it should be no shock this two-day festival is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackenterprise.com\/exclusive-dreamvilles-lute-and-roc-nations-reuben-vincent-shine-for-north-carolina-during-dreamville-fest\/\" data-reader-unique-id=\"93\">perfect fit to start festival season<\/a>. To kickoff the jam-packed weekend, festivities start on March 8 with a Women\u2019s Month luncheon honoring black female leaders trailblazing the field. This year\u2019s honorees include Chiefs Delma Noel-Pratt, Cherise Gause and Chief Harvette Smith, leading the police departments of the Miami-Dade area. As the sun goes down, Miami\u2019s own DJ Nasty will set the vibe alongside legendary DJ Kid Capri. With the \u201cWelcome to the Crib\u201d set on March 9, fans will experience the \u201cbiggest boss\u201d Rick Ross and Slip-N-Slide Records legends Trick Daddy and Trina as they rock the stage.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"107\">Hosted by comedian Rickey Smiley, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackenterprise.com\/usher-to-headline-11th-annual-jazz-in-the-gardens-event\/\" data-reader-unique-id=\"108\">the festival pays homage to some of Miami\u2019s finest<\/a> that set the tone with some of music\u2019s best sounds. Ending the weekend, DJ Cassidy brings the iconic \u201cPass The Mic\u201d experience to the Sunshine State with an unforgettable lineup featuring everyone\u2019s favorite Uncle Luke, T.I., Lil\u2019 Kim and Too $hort. There as there is something for all kinds of music lovers. Jamaican reggae artist Wayne Wonder will bring the Caribbean vibes of the early 2000s, as well as Kirk Franklin bringing Sunday\u2019s best to the stage.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"109\">Some of R&amp;B\u2019s best crooners from then and now will also be featured.
